Drought is one of the abiotic stresses that have a significant impact on agricultural growth across world. Plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) inoculation in rice plants may be viable and environmentally acceptable method sustaining development yield drought-stressed plants. The current study focused alleviation drought early stages variety CO 51 using PGPR isolated from rhizosphere xerophytes. seeds were treated with bio inoculants subjected to different moisture stress levels (10%, 20% 30%) PEG 6000. exhibited higher germination percentage traits such as shoot length root fresh weight, especially Bacillus velezensis VKSB5 (MT729963), altitudinis MLSB2 (MT729964) over uninoculated This was found due increased proline accumulation antioxidant activity these seedlings, which plays major role by altering osmotic potential its ROS scavenging mechanism. Hence this provides evidence for effective ameliorating ability cultures during initial rice. Further studies can contribute bio-inoculants mitigation
